As a Clinical Audiologist, it has always been my passion to help people, to find solutions to problems and to be attentive to people’s needs.

While practicing Audiology, I was driven by a desire to create natural skincare products to assist in treating everyday skincare and hair health concerns.

When my first daughter (Amé) was born, I struggled with hair loss during pregnancy and 9 months after pregnancy. I started using oil blends and many different oil based products to assist with stimulating new hair growth.

After my second daughter was born (Lienke), I continued to use the oil blends that I have come to love and started making my own oil blended hair and skincare products in 2023. The aim was to develop daily routine, wellness, and self care products using the best quality natural oil blends to target specific problems during and after pregnancy. Products safe to use during pregnancy, and safe for breatsfeeding women.

In 2024 my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It turned my world upside down. I knew then that I needed to refine my products to become inclusive of patient wellness after trauma , illness and operations: A scar tissue body oil, a soothing firming, fine line and wrinkle face oil, a hair oil to stimulate new hair growth.

Overnight my focus on pregnancy and post partum products became inclusive of assisting patients who have become ill, and that have post surgery and post medical treatment skincare and haircare needs. Our products are combined using natural ingredients, and natural seeds, each product with a powerful purpose: Blended, tested, refined and result driven. For women and men who have body product needs, sensitive skin, health complications, allergies. Amelie & Me Skincare was created in August 2023 with haircare and skin concerns in mind.
